Laurel Bendetti showcases her multifaceted expertise in teaching, directing, producing, marketing, choreographing, stage managing, costume design, artistic direction, PR/media management, and scenic work. Her newest project is directing a production of Next to Normal for the innovative new theatre start-up Lanton Theatrics.

Under Laurel Bendetti’s direction of the 26th Annual BC/EFA Benefit at West Chester University, she organized and led a team of over 60 members, coordinating all aspects of the production. At the conclusion of the event, she proudly revealed that their collective efforts had raised over $22,000, highlighting her leadership, organizational skill, and ability to inspire a large team toward a meaningful goal.

Laurel Bendetti spent a full day designing the theatre in chalk as an artistic protest and promotional statement against HIV stigma during the 26th Annual BC/EFA Benefit. Inspired by the work of local hero and artist Keith Haring, she also designed shirts in collaboration with her assistant director Meg Eddinger. The timing was especially significant: the benefit opened during a week when World AIDS Day was not officially recognized by the Trump administration, making her art a powerful platform for advocacy, awareness, and celebration of Haring’s legacy.
