about me

Laurel Bendetti is a Philadelphia-area theatre artist, singer, and creator known for emotionally grounded performances and a voice rooted in jazz and contemporary storytelling. Her most recent acting credits include Irene Ryan– and MTI-nominated performances as Maureen (RENT) and Aunt March (Little Women). A current Theatre Arts student at West Chester University, she will graduate in May. She performs regularly across West Chester and the Lehigh Valley, writes and produces original music, and works in arts marketing—building community through bold, lived-in storytelling with humor, grit, and heart.

She is an eclectic, multidisciplinary theatre artist whose work spans performing, directing, writing, teaching, creating, managing, producing, singing, dancing, and choreographing. Highly moldable and adaptable, she learns material quickly and moves fluidly across genres, styles, and creative roles—able to sing and play a wide range of music while adjusting her approach to fit the needs of each project. Drawn to the full creative process, she thrives in collaborative spaces and brings curiosity, versatility, and a distinctive voice to every room, shaping bold, lived-in storytelling from first idea to final performance.

Arts Marketing

Laurel Bendetti works in arts marketing for West Chester University’s Theatre and Dance Department, supporting the promotion of productions, events, and departmental initiatives through social media management, content creation, digital campaigns, and visual branding. She currently interns as the social media manager for the American College Theater Festival (ACTF), creating and coordinating content that highlights student work, festivals, and national theatrical advocacy. Laurel also serves as the social media manager for High Street Harmonix, overseeing content creation, video production, and platform growth for the award-winning a cappella group, and has managed social media for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) initiatives, developing campaign-driven content that supports fundraising, awareness, and community engagement. Across all platforms, Laurel’s visual aesthetic is a clear through line—visitors can click the Instagram icons to explore the pages she manages, where her detail-oriented, athletic eye balances composition, movement, and storytelling to create cohesive, visually striking feeds that translate live performance and advocacy into compelling digital presence.
